“Food for thought” – Entry 68 – ‘HOW TO LIVE A HAPPY LIFE’

HOW TO LIVE A HAPPY LIFE

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying yourselves on this day of holiday and break!

We all come to this life to find love and happiness! I know that this statement may not ring true to most ears. This is because a lot of the focus in this world is on problems and on what we don’t like. However, this happens because there is a lot of resistance on our part. And the resistance is created because we get into the habit of pushing against what we don’t lie. In order to live a happy life, we must learn not to push against what we don’t like. It’s actually very simple: the more we push against what we don’t like, we get more of what we don’t like. Law of attraction!

Life provides us with lots of data from our experiences. Therefore, we know what we want because we know what we don’t want. Life is too short to spend it focusing on things we do not want or don’t agree with. On the contrary, our expansion and evolution as human beings is created moment by moment by choosing the things we like, agree with and resonate with.

We need to remain open to consider different perspectives from the variety of data offered to us. We have the free will to question these perspectives and then decide which ones to keep and which ones to discard.

You, my friend, are the only one who can discern what is best for you even if, at times, you feel that you cannot trust yourself completely. All you have to do is keep training yourself to be the ‘sifter’ of your data so that you can collect the people, thoughts, beliefs and situations that best serve you. The more committed you are to this personal training of your mind, the stronger you will feel and the more trust you will have in yourself. Trusting yourself will help you stay away from people, circumstances, beliefs and practices that no longer resonate with you. You are the only one who can decide on the ingredients that will make up your own ‘pie’ of reality of happiness. Create your own reality out of the data that you sift through. This way you will be able to choose those bits and pieces of life’s data that serve your highest good. And always remember, life is a gift, so use it wisely. Love and light, Niki
