In a recent presentation, I spoke with students about “attitude”. In my line of work as a life coach and NLP coach, it is very gratifying to interact with young minds. I am eager to hear what they have to say and listen to their concerns because young people represent the future. The earlier young people understand how valuable they are, the sooner they will decide and accept that staying true to themselves is the most important gift they can offer themselves. This is indeed a matter of attitude. And NLP is all about attitude.
Attitude is very simply the way we think, feel and behave. In other words, attitude is our mental and emotional energy about everything in life, and it is set in motion from a very early age. Most of us are not aware of our attitude. It is unconscious. However, this is good news because once we make our attitude conscious we can take steps to change and improve it. There are many life coaching and NLP techniques we can use to improve our attitude. All we have to do is be willing to “see’ things in a different way.
Sharing my journey as a “student of life” with young people and clients makes me happy. Knowing that there is a chance to help someone adopt a different attitude toward life makes my life richer. Once you learn to allow good things to happen to you, everything will change for the better. If you need support and guidance to do so, do not hesitate to reach out for help. I know I did 🙂
